WABIO progresses in its impact by building bridges between governments and its population, waste and energy, electricity and gas networks, greenhouse gases and clean gases, biology and technology – putting waste to work.
Headquartered in Munich and Neukirchen, WABIO was created in 1993 by Dr. Jochen Auerbach as the father of the WABIO technology. Raphael Fitz joined in the end 1990s. The team is mainly composed of engineers and post graduates.
The company has a strategic advisory committee, bringing together shareholder representatives and industry experts.
CEO’s Message
WABIO’s Mission is a journey from waste to green end environmental-friendly energy to make the world a better place for our children.
The CEO of WABIO Technologie GmbH, Raphael L. T. Fitz, has involved himself in the waste-to-green-energy industry when his second daughter was born and he realized that the world is destroying itself and will drown in waste – if mankind does not start immediately doing something against this dramatical development.

Together with the genious engineer Dr. Jochen Auerbach, the "father" of the WABIO technology, Raphael and his team are pursuing their way forward to fight for a greener and cleaner future!
Working in its own labs and with many university partners over the past 30+ years, WABIO has been developing biotechnological process solutions to improve the efficiency of biogas generation. These highly efficient solutions take into account all environmental aspects to maximise our positive impact on the environment.
WABIO has thus looked at all types of industrial, agricultural, and society types of waste to develop solutions for an efficient and environmental friendly conversion to renewable energy!
